I’m running the 2026 London Marathon (yes, really!)
As many of you know, I’m not exactly a natural runner—but you only live once, and if I’m going to put myself through 26.2 miles / 42 km, it’s going to be for someone truly special: Harry.
Harry tragically died in October 2018 at just 23 years old while working in Australia. He is deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him. In 2016, he completed a course at the Lyme Regis Boat Building Academy, a place he adored and that will always hold a special place in our hearts.
I’m running the marathon to raise money for equipment for the Academy’s bursary scheme students, which supports aspiring boat builders and furniture makers who wouldn’t otherwise be able to fund their training. It’s a brilliant cause that helps keep traditional skills alive—something Harry was passionate about.
If you can, please sponsor me. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference and would mean so much.
Thank you
