The chapter we find ourselves in now is filled with gratitude and urgency. About a year and a half ago, we were jolted by the news of Hyrum's battle against a formidable opponent—cancer. Yet, amidst the trials, we've witnessed the extraordinary: from the rekindling of love between Hyrum and Sophie, his high school sweetheart, to their swift, beautiful decision to marry, creating joyous memories that have illuminated our lives. Hyrum's journey has been a testament to the strength of the human spirit, surrounded by love and buoyed by miraculous moments of quality life, defying every expectation.

Current Update January 2025: Support Hyrum and Sophie in This Time of Need

Today, we find ourselves at a deeply emotional crossroads. After recent discoveries about the progression of Hyrum's condition, he has made the decision to stop chemotherapy due to the toll it has taken on his body. His focus now is on cherishing the time he has left, finding peace, and savoring every precious moment with Sophie and their loved ones.

In times like these, the importance of love, connection, and community becomes crystal clear. It is with humble hearts that we reach out to you—our family, friends, and community—for support during this challenging chapter.

We’ve created a GoFundMe campaign to help ease the financial burden for Hyrum and Sophie.
