Hurricane Relief and Recovery Lost Home

Hurricane Idalia unfortunately took my grandmother and cousins home. It’s been in the family 70 years, in Crystal River, FL and this was the last storm it could finally take. We have recovered what we can with helping hands from the community. However, getting back on their feet and replacing items and a home is not going to be easy. Life for many is already hard, Larra is a teacher at a local school and my grandmother is on social security. Anything will help them. We’ve moved them into a temporary home for the time being, but there has to be a permanent solution. This home has hosted decades of Christmas, Thanksgivings and more. It is sad to see it go, but unfortunately this was the last it could handle.
