Housing to end Veteran Homeless in Amarillo, Tx

Here we are!! Homeless Heroes has a mission to end homelessness for our area Veterans! Since 2017, God placed it on my heart to bridge the gap between Housing Servies, i.e. Vouchers for our Veterans and the actual roofs to put them under. In Amarillo we have an incredible community of Veterans Services. As a Real Estate Broker, I have seen the gap in what's available in affordable housing for these vouchers to get our Men and Women off our streets. Over the last few years, we have been focused on land to build a Tiny Home development. Last year we were granted land by Potter County. We faced challenges and opposition and ultimately had to rescind the offer, and yet from that, we have pivoted to create something that not only is more cost efficient, feasible, and achievable in a timely manner, the LOCATION IS THE BEST PART. This 20-unit motel is directly across the street from the Amarillo VA. With services close by, this property is the dream!! We need YOUR HELP to raise $500,000 to be able to close on this property by the end of April. Once we close, we will enter into a three-phase rehab to get these 20 rooms turned into 12-14 one bedroom one-bathroom homes for our Veterans! Not only will they be livable, but they will also be something that people will be proud to call home. Amarillo, we need YOU!!!
