WE ARE ALMOST THERE!! A few donors made generous donations of $5000, but they were not registered (because of the small fee GoFundMe charges) so that is why the amount is set at $6000.
We want to raise $21,000, with the help of our anchor donors who will be matching funds up to $10,000. The funds will be used to raise money in order to create a new and improved space for backpackers from all of the world to come and experience the love Jesus has for them. We will update the floor, kitchen, living room, dorm spaces, laundry room and bathrooms, as well as adding solar panels to the roof. The project will serve not only backpackers, but other guests that come to use the space. We serve people of all places, religions, ethnicities and orientations. We want the space to reflect the heart we have - a heart that is colorful, Mexico-influenced, inviting, loving and warm. We want our building to truly reflect what it means to be part of the Warm Heart Community Center.
