Hopkins Adopt

As you all know, Ricky and I have been trying to adopt again for about a year, and we are so excited to announce that we have officially been matched!!! We have been selected by an expectant mother who wants to make an adoption plan and is due in April with a baby girl  ❤️ We have met with her in person several times, and our case worker from our agency has been going with her to all of her doctor's appointments, and baby girl is doing great!

This amazing woman lives in South Carolina, and, unfortunately, when we were budgeting for our second adoption, we did not realize how much more legal and attorney fees would be for an out of state adoption. In addition to that, this particular situation has required extraneous additional fees that we did not anticipate, so with a very short time frame to pull together these unexpected expenses, we became a little stressed.

We have been praying over this additional burden that we had placed on us and how to best handle it, and during that time, an old co-worker of mine (Karen Andreasen!) randomly sent me a message and let us know that God and laid it on her heart to have a fundraiser for us. After announcing our fundrasier, we had so many people reach out to us to let us know that they would not be able to attend the party but would still like to contribute to help us bring home Baby Hopkins #2, so we decided to start a Go Fund Me page to create a central location for those who would like to contribute but won't be able to be a part of the party.

We are so incredibly humbled by your love, support and selflessness and cannot express how much your contribution means to us and our family. Thank you so much!!!
