Memorial Service for Mr. Blia Yao Moua Naotou

Donation protected
Its Sunday on 2.20.22, a day thats usually enjoyed by many families by relaxing, maybe even a little extra sleep, waking up to the smell of yummy breakfast sizzling or a fun brunch/dinner with family and friends before getting that last recharge in. Sadly, that wasn’t the case for our bestfriend, whose dad was rushed to the hospital and told he’s not going to make it.

Imagine receiving your worst phone call, your biggest fear in life coming true, you’re losing a loved one and there’s nothing anyone can do.

Yao Moua suffered a severe stroke this day with fatal bleeding in his brain, and spent his last days on life support to give his family their final moments with him.

Today on 2.23, through heartbreak, tears & pain, the family sets him free, free of worries, stress and agony, in Heaven with God is where he will be. He leaves behind an incredible life story of not just a Hmong immigrant but a hero in his name, with 7 children and 17 grandchildren as his legacy.

Life was far from easy, growing up in Laos through chaos and war, we call him an everyday hero because of what he stands for. In the midst of destruction during the Vietnam war, as their family along with the whole town was fleeing for their lives, he selflessly picks up a handicapped girl that was left behind by her own family in fear that she would slow them down. This isnt the first or last time he’s extended a helping hand, throughout his life his values and morals still stand.

A godly man who was devoted to his family and faith, he could command a room with just his presence, but tough love, resilience, strength and a kind big heart was his way.

Times are hard, but losing a loved one unexpectedly is even harder. This fundraiser is for the Moua family, to help with laying a great father, brother, uncle, grandfather & hero to rest, please donate and share. Any amount or visibility helps and is truly appreciated.
