Our dad, Tony Hewett, died peacefully at home on June 7, 2021 after a hard-fought battle with sarcoma, a rare and aggressive class of cancers with very few treatment options. In lieu of flowers, we would like to honor his legacy of generosity by collecting donations, to be made in his name. They will be split between the Sarcoma Foundation of America and gifts to pediatric cancer patients.

To know our dad is to love him. He had an enthusiastic love for life and was happy to share that love with anyone who would let him. He was a devoted father and husband to our mom, Laura. People knew him for the countless hours coaching his kids' soccer teams, his passion for the ocean, and obsession with the Yankees. He was the most kind-hearted, genuine person we knew and we promised we would carry on that legacy. He would be incredibly thankful for any and all support in this endeavor.
