Celebrating Peter Drakos and Help with Final Expenses

Peter Drakos passed to the Great Beyond at the age of 47 on February 9, 2025, after a long and gallant battle against the effects of Spinocerebellar Ataxia. Peter lived an adventurous and meaningful life in the face of ever-increasing disability over the last many years. He instigated fun and created a broad and diverse community of amazing people around him. His loss is deeply felt by his friends and family who loved him unceasingly and whom he, in turn, provided with love, acceptance, and joy.

This fundraiser is to help defer Peter's final care costs.

Thank you all for your unending support, care, and love for Peter! We could never have made his life so very rich on our own. It has been a true blessing to behold his community rally around him, support him, and love him so well.

Any donations in excess of Peter's costs will be shared amongst Peter's favorite organizations: Missoula Adaptive Recreation and Sports - MARS; Summit Independent Living Center, and the National Ataxia Foundation.

Peter's Wake and Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, 3/22/25, 2p - 5p at the UC Ballroom in Missoula, Montana. Please join us to celebrate this amazing man!
