Update;
My mother has gone to her true home in heaven 6/8/24 . This has been extremely hard time after I got the news. I know it’s not timely but I wanted to share with you all, that she’s no longer here with us.
I do plan to have a celebration of life and remembrance that will be held at the coast during her birthday weekend. On 8/3/24 details will be given to those who reach out. (Her birthday 7/31/24)
Location;
My mother’s wish was to be scattered in the PWN Ocean. If you would like to be apart of it or support feel free to reach out to me you can also do so through this Gofundme. Our family appreciate your support and love through this journey. I know my Mother appreciates you all and for your support. It means so much. Thank you.
My mother Diane has had a beautiful life with loved ones, friends and family. At this time, due to serious health complications, she is now in hospice. Our family is deeply saddened by this. She is a strong woman and has fought the good fight. Unfortunately, cancer has returned swiftly. Giving her an extremely short amount of time here with us.
I know she would want you all to know that she values every connection and interaction with you. I know she holds those times close to her heart. My mother has always had a big heart. Always willing to help you learn something new. Her beautiful eyes looking back at you with a smile are special moments. When I was a baby, My mother chose me and raised me. I will always be humbled, and I love her so much for that. I was able to give her 2 beautiful grandchildren, who love her so much as well. My mother would speak of her friends often and how much she missed them or of fun times with them. I just know my mother will be greatly missed. She impacted so many.
My kids and I are trying to stay strong through this difficult time. I will update this as the days unfold. I'm here to seek help and support to cover her final expenses, end of life services and to continue her legacy. We thank you in advance for what you give to show love and support for Diane's legacy and family.
Diane worked as an educator and administrator in Portland public schools, alternative, correctional and private schools and organizations in Oregon, New York and Texas. She worked for the Katu2 news station for many years, She retired after giving everything she coluld to the community. Diane has 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren.
She has such a passion for adventure my mother created beautiful Art, including paintings and drawings, anything creative. Diane loves her grandchildern and they love her, she loves playing wtih them having a lot of laughs, and creating beautiful memories for them to have. My mother is an amazing, loving person.
Our family greatly appreciates your support during this time. Diane's legacy will live on with any donations you give that will also be used for expenses and end-of-life services. Thank you for your help and support.
