On sep 22 , 2025 my cousin Alex Gomez tragically lost his life in a fall while working on a building inside .He was only 22 years old, full of dreams and determination.

He was more than a son and a brother — he was the provider, the one who carried the weight of the family on his shoulders. his mother raised him and his brother alone, working tirelessly to give them everything she could. He never forgot the sacrifices she made. I remember when we were kids we would go to the fields doing agriculture jobs him and his mom. He was respectful with his mom and would help his mom in any certain way. And after hearing what happened i want to be the voice .

That’s why his dream was so clear: to give his mom a better life . He told her, “You won’t have to work anymore, I’ll take care of everything.” He wanted to buy her a home, to cover her medicine, to pay the bills, and to help his younger brother reach his dreams too.

Sadly, his life was cut short before he could make that dream a reality. Now, we his family and friends — want to carry his dream forward. His mother has no support, no safety net, and she depended on him for everything.

This fundraiser is to help honor his dream:

To support his mother so she doesn’t have to struggle alone

To help his brother continue his education and future goals
