Honor the Memory of Jaylyn's Beloved Mother

Hello everyone, I'm Jaylyn Woodruff. I am one of the youngest daughters and siblings among my mom's four children. I'm organizing this fundraiser for my mom, who has passed away due to her illness.

As times become increasingly challenging and the financial landscape becomes more constricted, I find myself in a position where I must seek financial assistance to cover the costs associated with my mother's headstone. The emotional weight of losing a loved one is profound, and during such a difficult period, the last thing one wants to worry about is the financial burden of memorializing them appropriately.

My mom spent 54 years on earth before her passing. She was a devoted wife, mother, and sibling. Throughout her life, my mother was a woman who excelled in hospitality towards others. She possessed a bold and determined heart, always caring for and treating others with kindness. Unfortunately, in 2017, she was diagnosed with kidney failure. In addition to this, she had other underlying health conditions that severely impacted her well-being. As her illness progressed, she was diagnosed with heart failure, among other issues. On January 20th, 2024, my mother passed away. She fought hard to be a loving wife, a heartfelt mother, and a caring member of her community. I want everyone to know who my mom was to others. She believed in treating others as you would like to be treated and strived for respect, diversity, and equality. My mother was a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many, and it is of utmost importance to me to honor her memory in a way that reflects her spirit and the love she shared with those around her.

However, the rising costs of funeral services and burial arrangements have made it difficult for me to manage these expenses on my own. The headstone, which serves as a lasting tribute to her life, is a significant part of this process, and I want to ensure that it is a fitting representation of who she was. As I navigate this challenging time, I am reaching out to friends, family, and community members for support. Any financial assistance that can be provided would be greatly appreciated and would help alleviate some of the stress associated with these expenses. It is my hope to create a lasting memorial that not only honors my mother's legacy but also provides a place for family and friends to come together and remember the beautiful moments we shared with her.
