Last week, my mother, Evelyn Hernandez, passed away from complications stemming from kidney cancer. My family, all those who knew her, and I are deeply saddened by her passing.

Unfortunately, she did not have life insurance. We would all like to remember her in accordance with what we think her wishes may have been. I would like to have her ashes scattered in the beautiful rose garden at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. She always loved flowers and expressed that by taking great care of her flower garden at home, and she always wanted a plant or flowers for her birthday or special occasions. So, when I found out that Hollywood Forever offers this wonderful service, I knew it was perfect for her. This includes a scattering ceremony that you are all welcome to attend.

She will also be having a viewing service, pre-cremation. More details to come soon on that.
