Honoring a Veteran: Help Us Lay David M. Ellington to Rest

We come together today to honor the life and legacy of David Michael Ellington, a beloved veteran who dedicated his life to serving our country, his church, and his family. He lived with integrity, selflessness, and unwavering devotion - whether in the military, where he served our country for 30 years, in his faith community, where he guided and uplifted others, or at home, where he was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.

David served with honor in the Army for 30 years. Through deployments, relocations, and personal sacrifice, he stood tall in defense of the freedoms we all enjoy today. After retiring, he turned his focus to faith and family—becoming a pillar in his church community and a loving, dependable presence to his wife, his children and grandchildren.

Now, as we prepare to say goodbye, we hope to give him the dignified farewell he deserves - one that reflects the profound impact he had on so many lives. Funeral expenses can be overwhelming, especially when sudden and unexpected, and we humbly ask for your support in easing this burden for his family. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help provide a beautiful and honorable service to celebrate his life and legacy.

Celebration of life for Duke will be held at River of Life Church on Monday 5/5 @ 4pm. Balloon release at 5:30 and dinner served at 6pm.
