NY Transitional Home for Homeless Needs Help!

This pandemic has left the world in shock but the most hard hit has been the homeless or low income community.
In NY ICNA Relief has operated transitional housing for women for the past 11 years! Our second transitional home opened its door after a need for housing for children! We provide a safe haven for women and children as they strive to become self-sufficient and get back on their feet.
Our transitional home is in need of your help! The pandemic has increased the demand of women and children seeking shelter by ten-folds! We are constantly receiving calls from people that have lost their jobs and no longer can pay their rents or from women left on the verge of homelessness at the hands of their abusers. As we strive to meet the needs of the residents, we need your support to help us complete much needed improvements that comes from a decade of wear and tear as well as to increase capacity (kitchen, bedrooms, etc.)
Furthermore, the current dynamics presents a pressing need for several computers to help facilitate remote learning for children, job searches, classes and all the tools they need to develop their skills.
