Hollycombe School Summer Fair - or not!

This week should be the busiest week of the year for the HPA when we would all normally be working hard organising our biggest fundraiser of the year, contacting local businesses and finalising the finer details to bring you an amazing afternoon at Hollycombe School Summer Fair. Sadly, due to COVID-19 this is not the case.

I know that this is a trying time for everybody and not all parents will be in a position to make donations this year, but we would be grateful for donations from anybody that feels they are still able to make any contribution. 

So in lieu of the Summer Fair we came up with the following fundraising ideas.....

* £5 - I do not want to clear out my drinks cupboard of dodgy bottles of wine only to win them back on the tombola, so here is the money I would have spent on tickets.

* £15 - I do not want to bake and sell cupcakes, so here is the money I would have spent on cupcakes.

*£25 I do not want to stand behind stalls at the summer fair while my kids "win" back all the teddies I have just cleared out of their bedrooms and various other tat.

*£50 - I do not want to walk, swim or run in any activity that has the word"thon" in it.

*£100 - I am making this donation to express my appreciation for having nothing to buy, sell or do except go to Go Fund Me and make a donation.

*£1 Million - please forget my name and face and do not ask me for anything else again.
