Hole to Hump for Fallen Officers

Earlier this year I made a secret goal to complete Hole to Hump. This is a 90+ mile trek through Arizona starting at the Grand Canyon and ending at Mt. Humphries. I only let a few people know, and have been training for this personal feat religiously. At the same time, I have continued to send cards to departments who have had an officer death. These number have risen dramatically over the last few years, and the more cards I sent out, the more I began to wonder if I should add an extra layer of meaning to H2H.

I am making my Hole to Hump journey public, a very big step for me, to honor the fallen officers and raise funds for the AZ100 Club . Their mission is to provide immediate financial assistance to families of public safety officers and firefighters who are seriously injured or killed in the line of duty, and to provide resources  to enhance their safety and welfare.

H2H is a huge personal challenge for me, and adding on the honor of running for so many fallen officers brings even more meaning to this goal. I hope you'll join me in supporting the AZ100 Club!
