Hodie's Emergency Vet & Surgery

Anyone that knows me and even if you don't you've probably heard that you don't see me without my little Hodie.

I have so many words, but the most important ones right now are please help my little Hodie, my best friend, my lil man, 1 of my everything's, Please & Thank You!

Sunday evening, the 19th of January 2025 my little hoodie was attacked by another animal. We were not home at this time and don't know exactly what happened but I do know when I got home my little hody was almost gone, im such shock and you could tell in so pain already.

We rushed him to the emergency vet in South Daytona. I was able to afford to get the x-rays and some pain meds and antibiotics for him at the cost of $641. The ER was so nice to only charge me $145 of that out of the kindness of their heart because they know how important animal lives to a human like 1 of my sons, my family member, my everything.

X-ray shows he has multiple broken ribs up by his vertebrae, he has several punctual wounds all over his body, side to side,top to bottom, neck, head, legs, everywhere.

Without further payment they couldn't go on he needs blood work,

They need to be able to sedate him and shave him and get into his wounds, his puncture wounds, drain them and make sure they haven't punctured his lungs are what they fear his abdomen.

Then sew him back up what they can and continue on antibiotics and healing It will take recovery and the animal hospital for a night or so after.

I could not afford to pay the ER vet early this morning so I had to bring him home with me. They gave me some pain meds for him and antibiotics and I've just been laying with him ever since.

I know that getting him back to the ER/Vet and getting him checked out again is life or death.

I tried to get him into a couple of vets this morning but everyone is so booked up.

There's only 3 overnight vet facilities for emergencies around my area and the vets I checked out said the emergency center in South Daytona their costs were actually average and right where they should be which is about $3,000 for what all my little Hodie needs to just start the process of making sure he's okay he can pull through this.

I can't stand to see him suffer.

But I can't stand to think that I had to put my baby down because I couldn't afford it on a whelm, an emergency, totally unplanned and bad timing of course, isn't it always.

But we do what we have to do to take care of our loved ones and that's why I'm reaching out to you.

This little guy means the world to me and my family.

He's brought me through some of my darkest days.

I need him.

If my baby doesn't make it out of this before I can raise enough to get it back to the vet all funds will be returned
