It is with great saddness and grief in my heart that I am sharing on behalf of my dear friend, Jackie Cruz. You see, on Thanksgiving night her only son, Herberto Nicholas Burgos, passed after being struck by two cars. Absolutely nothing could ever prepare a mother to receive the such devastating news. Nevertheless, that he was so young.
Jackie is on her way to South Carolina to make arrangements and put her son to rest. During this time of grieving and devastation it is even more unfortunate when a family has to consider the financial impact of burial, memorial and/or cremation costs. Often times people do not know what to say or do at a time like this. They wonder what can I do to help? How can I make a difference. This is the time to help the living.
