Her Afghanistan seeks to empower a young Afghan woman who has recently fallen ill and is in a life-threatening condition. Without warning, Shaima is faced with the sobering realization that she could possibly face death.
Shaima is trying to understand and cope with countless appointments and evaluations with specialists in Afghanistan.
Shaima is only 17 years old and has three weeks left to raise money for a procedure out of the country - during a pandemic.
Her Afghanistan reached out to its broad network but could not execute medical support in country. We are hoping to ease the burden of medical bills and costs associated with doctor visits and procedures.
Shaima needs our help to travel in the region and receive the medical support required.
