Devon and I have been going on a mission trip every year to Costa Rica and working with an organization called Pura Vida Missions. This year would have been Devon's 10th year and it would have been my 6th but because of Covid-19 we are unable to go. Although our mission team cancelled their trip Devon and I had planned on going on our own but day by day all of the teams that were scheduled to come to the mission cancelled so now there is no way for us to go. The mission relies heavily on the money from the teams to support the mission and like a lot of other people they are struggling to continue doing the amazing work they do in the town of San Ramon. They support the kids in and around San Ramon with things they need to attend school and also provide spiritual guidance. They also help families when they have emergencies. Recently they've rebuilt 3 houses for families whose houses burnt down. One of those families we are very close to and are so grateful to the mission for not only building them a new house but allowing them to live in a church they built while they were rebuilding. Pura Vida means everything to us and we want to do whatever we can do to help recover the income they have lost and be able to continue helping the kids in their community.
