Helping raise funds for 2 sick children

So for 7 Bands this year we have decided to support 2 young children who are not too well. We hope that the money raised will enable their families to spend some quality time with them and help in some small way.

Hartley has been diagnosed with Down's Syndrome and had been smashing all his treatments. Unfortunately he contracted Chicken Pox in April this year which left him being unable to walk and has spent lots of time in Bristol Children's Hospital. It was subsequently discovered that Hartley had contracted Leukemia and has been receiving Chemotherapy, requiring 10 operations and over 7 months worth of treatment. He is home now with his family but has another 18 months of treatment still to go. Hartley is a little fighter and with the support of his incredible family he will beat this Cancer.

 Since Fletcher was 6 months old he has suffered with a bowel disorder and has endured many Hospital trips trying to establish why he was having abdominal pain and not being able to eat properly. For a long time they were unable to establish the cause of his illness causing a lot of frustration for him and his family. At the age of 4 they finally discovered that Fletcher had a blocked bowel and since then he now wears a tube which he uses to receive his daily medication. Fletcher has also endured long stays in hospital and him and his family are learning to cope with his illness. It is not known if things will get better for Fletcher anytime soon but his family are immensely proud of him and his love for other children and animals is what keeps him going.
