In September of 2013, my 11 year old son Maison was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Unfortunately, Maison has other medical conditions as well. In 2010 he was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. All of these conditions are related to autoimmune deficiencies. We go back and forth to Mass General Hospital Boston regularly along with surprise emergency trips.
Through this 3 year journey Maison has kept his sense of humor and wonderful outlook on life. He is such an old sole with a genuinely large heart. He never complains and doesn't ask "Why me".
I am humbly asking for assistance with the medical cost associated with his illnesses. Co-pays for the doctors visits and medical supplies are incredibly high. Gas, parking and train fair add up too. I would like to get Maison on an insulin pump once we have his blood glucose under control.
