Helping Garrett Get a Wheelchair-Accessible Home

Hi, my name is Daniel Brown. I am setting up this fundraiser for my good friend Garrett Mayersohn in South Florida. Garrett has Cerebral Palsy for which he uses a wheelchair and requires assistance in a multitude of ways in order for him to complete tasks of everyday life. Garrett is currently looking for a new long-term living situation, which is proving challenging due to scarcity of rentable units that have the built in accommodations Garrett needs to live independently. Unfortunately the only real option for Garrett is to buy his own condominium and pay for the renovations himself in order to make the place accessible for him. This obviously is a major financial commitment in itself, with costs for a down payment on a mortgage, monthly mortgage costs, and the cost of any renovations he needs to make to the place accessible for him. These total costs create a huge financial strain for both him and his family, which is why I am requesting your assistance in easing this financial burden for them. Any amount you can give, no matter how small, would go a long way in helping Garrett live a long, happy, healthy, and independent life! We thank you so much for your help!
