Help Zeynep Continue Her Medical School
Doação protegida
Hello, my name is Zeynep. I’m 22 years old, and I’m working tirelessly to achieve my lifelong dream of becoming a doctor and making a difference in the world.
I come from Turkey, where I graduated from a competitive science high school with a strong foundation in biology, physics, and mathematics. Driven by my dream to study medicine at an international level and build a future where I can help people globally, I prepared for and took several international exams, including IELTS and IMAT. Thanks to my hard work, I was accepted into the Faculty of Medicine at Ovidius University in Constanța, Romania.
I’ve successfully completed my first year of medical school — but I still have five more years to go.
However, my journey is not an easy one. My family in Turkey is facing serious financial difficulties. My mother is unable to work due to health reasons, and my father earns very little. On top of that, the value of the Turkish lira is very low compared to the euro, making studying abroad extremely difficult to sustain.
To continue my education and complete my second year, I need to raise $6,000, which covers tuition and basic living expenses for one academic year. Without this support, I risk having to put my dream on hold — or worse, abandon it entirely.
Becoming a doctor has been my dream for as long as I can remember, not just for myself, but so I can serve others and give back to communities in need. I hope to one day practice medicine in Canada, where I can contribute to global health and reach more people with the care they deserve.
If you’re able to contribute — no matter how small — you’ll be helping me stay on the path to becoming a doctor. Your support means everything. It means hope, it means opportunity, and it means not giving up on a dream that has the power to change lives.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for believing in me.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Zeynep
