Hi my name is Zeus, I’m 33, husband and a father of four. I was diagnosed with testicular cancer two years ago, went through an orchiectomy and one round of chemo and have been clear until now. We recently found a tumor in my lung that was just removed in February through Cardiothoracic surgery. I’ve been recovering well from surgery but after the biopsy came back (100% yolk sac tumor) my oncologist has recommended four rounds of chemotherapy because of lung pleural involvement. We’re currently reviewing our options and attempting to transfer my case to Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville for a second opinion but it does seem like I’ll be going back for a port placement and chemotherapy in the very near future. Although we have insurance, it’s only covering a percentage of the surgery and tests and with the recovery time so far I cannot depend on my

ability to work as a plumber to pay for the hospital bills we’ve already accumulated as well as our day to day cost of living. That being said I’m reaching out to you, my friends, family and even strangers for your generosity and good will to help me provide for myself and my family in these coming months.
