Help with funeral expenses for baby Cherish
Donazione protetta
On April 16th at 5:24am Cherish Harvey was born into this world to her loving parents, Chris and Charity Harvey. Weighing 5lbs 7oz.
During Charity's 20 week ultrasound with Cherish, she was told devastating news. That baby Cherish was not compatible with life. She was diagnosed with Trisomy 13. (An extra 13th chromosome.) Despite many outside voices that encouraged her to end this baby's life early, Charity chose to carry Cherish to term. Holding out for a miracle and trusting Jesus through all of this. Charity did her best to build lasting memories with her family that included baby cherish while she was still with us, safely tucked inside her mother's womb. Even near the end of pregnancy she was given an option for early induction. She declined, knowing that Cherish was safest with her.
At 37 weeks Charity moved into Ronald McDonald House in Calgary, To be near the medical staff that were preparing for this high risk birth.
Cherish was born alive in Calgary, at Foothills Hospital, with her father Chris and Grandmother Debbie Rush present.
She made it past her due date by 2 days, something that no medical staff thought possible.
Cherish got to have a short visit with her siblings, grandparents and aunts and uncle.
She passed away just over 24 hours later in her fathers arms at 8:50am on April 17th.
With only Cherish's mother and father in the room
Cherish leaves behind her parents Chris and Charity. Her three beautiful siblings Chasen 9, Jayda 8, and Jona-Lynn 3.
The miracle of full healing that we all prayed for didn't come here on earth. We know that she is whole in heaven. We find peace knowing that Cherish is in the loving arms of Our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
I have had so many people reaching out to me with such hart felt condolences. And asking if there is anything that they can do to help.
So I have put together this gofundme to help relieve the expenses of the funeral cost on Chris and Charity.
This would bless their family and give them an opportunity to keep Chris home longer with his family as they all grieve the loss of Cherish.
Anyone who took the time to pray for Cherish is welcome to come and celebrate her brief life with us this Saturday April 22nd at 2pm. At Alliance Church in Sylvan Lake.
