Wesly is my beloved 11.5-year-old dog, and he means the world to me. Yesterday, Wesly was hospitalized after experiencing sudden seizures with no clear cause. We rushed him to the emergency vet, and after a series of lab tests, x-rays, and a urinalysis, all the results came back normal. While Wesly is currently stabilized and being closely monitored, we still don’t know what’s causing his seizures. The uncertainty is overwhelming, but we are doing everything we can to help him.

We have already exhausted all of our savings to cover his emergency care, and the costs are continuing to add up. We are now facing significant debt from his hospitalization, and we know there may be more emergency visits ahead if his seizures return. The next step is to get Wesly an MRI, but the earliest neurological appointment we could get isn’t until 12/30. We want to do right by Wesly and give him every chance to recover, but we can’t do it alone.
