Help Vicki Reclaim Her Medical Practice

My sister has worked her whole adult life helping others as a nurse, working with vulnerable elderly patients before following her dream to open her own practice providing ethical and non-judgmental pain management care for patients in Colorado Springs. She established this business with a business partner who handled the administrative front of the practice while she focused on the medical aspects.

While she was exploring expansion leads in another state, her business partner was reported to have sexually harassed employees, fraudulently billed insurance, and enacted a hostile takeover of the company. He locked all of the accounts, fraudulently changed the partner business to a sole proprietorship, and fired any employees connected to her.

She has had all of her income, intellectual property, and lifelong dream stolen from her, and the police have informed her that her only course of action is through a lawsuit. She has spoken with attorneys and has been told they can help once she is able to come up with a $10k retainer. I am reaching out for help as she has been left with nothing and I want her to get her practice back.

She has been struggling with cancer during this as well, and I am worried about the toll it is taking on her mentally and physically. She won't ask for help because she is embarrassed and blames herself for not seeing his true character.
