Hi, my name is Odalys, and I’m raising funds for my dad, who everyone lovingly knows as Blanco. He is truly the best dad in the world, and I would do anything for him.

My dad is a Specialist 4th Class Veteran who has always been strong, independent, and giving to others. Sadly, his health has taken a hard turn. He’s had 10 amputations since 2023, about a month ago he first lost part of his foot due to severe infections, and more recently, he lost part of his leg. On top of that, he goes to dialysis three days a week, which takes a huge toll on his body and strength. Despite everything, he keeps his spirit up, but getting around has become nearly impossible without the right equipment.

An electric wheelchair would give him back independence, dignity, and the ability to move safely. After researching, I learned that a reliable mid-range full-size power wheelchair (with the strength, comfort, and durability he needs) can cost $5,000–$8,000 or more, depending on features and adjustments.

That’s why I’m asking for help. Our goal is to raise $8,000 to cover:

• A safe, durable electric wheelchair suited for his needs

• Any necessary accessories (batteries, charger, cushion, etc.)

• Delivery and setup
