Hi everyone,
My name is Lou, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit.
I run a small farm that has been in our family for 10 years—a place that’s not just a home, but a sanctuary for animals, a hub for community, and a labor of love. Unfortunately, time, weather, and hardship have taken a serious toll. Now, with a harsh winter fast approaching, the farm is in critical need of repair.
What’s Happening:
• Our fences have collapsed, leaving the animals vulnerable.
• Several stable roofs are caving in, making them unsafe for our horses
• Weeds and overgrowth have taken over, choking out pastureland and making everyday upkeep near impossible.
• The main barn and shelter areas are deteriorating quickly, and without repairs, we may not make it through the coming months.
This farm means everything to us, to the animals who depend on it, and to the community members who visit, and find peace here. But we can’t do it alone.
What We Need:
We’re looking to raise £5,000 to:
• Rebuild and secure all perimeter and interior fencing
• Repair or replace collapsed stable roofs
• Clear and restore overgrown land for safe animal grazing
• Reinforce shelter structures to withstand winter storms
Every penny raised will go directly to materials, labor, and essential tools to make the farm safe again. If we can act now, we can give these animals the warm, secure shelter they deserve and keep this farm running through the winter and beyond.
How You Can Help:
Even if you can’t donate, sharing this campaign means the world to us. Every bit of help brings us closer to restoring this farm and ensuring no animal has to endure a dangerous winter.
all funds will be used for materials, tools, labour, feed, equipment everything we need to take back our farm!
Thank you for taking the time to read our story. We’re incredibly grateful for your support, kindness, and belief in what we’re trying to protect.
With all our hearts,
Lou
