Aloha! My name is Lani, founder Lani's Gardens of Eatin' & Lani's Gardens Artists' Retreat, Sweet Harmony Music School, and Lani's Lomi Lomi. Our goal is to help people learn how to grow their dream gardens, live sustainably, make music and heal our bodies naturally. We intend to create a relaxing community center where locals, visiting artists, and permaculture students can enjoy nature as they embark on their journey in learning different sustainable methods.
With our new acquisition of land on the Big Island of Hawai'i, we would appreciate any donations to assist with preparing the 'aina to facilitate community learning workshops, classes, & retreats.
Donations will assist Lani's Gardens Artists' Retreat with purchasing farm & music equipment & supplies, installing needed utilities (toilets, electricity, etc.), building infrastructure, clearing land, and creating camping sites for writers, artists, musicians, music students, permaculture students and families. We appreciate all donations that assist us with helping artists & families feel more empowered to be sustainable.
* About da farmah *
Lani is an Asian American female farmer, mother, award~winning writer and singer whose main goal is to increase wellness awareness within her community. She began farming 5 years ago and enrolled in several farmer training programs where she learned how to run a small-scale farm. She started her Lani's Gardens of Eatin', which provides organic fruit trees, plants, and herbs to the local Big Island Community. She also created Lani's Gardens Artists' Retreat, where she has assisted artists to relax, recharge, and retreat into nature.
During the pandemic, we saw how fragile our food system was and decided to grow our own and start our journey to become self-sustainable. We have established a food forest, solar, and composting systems. As we journeyed, we have hosted numerous artists who also want to live this lifestyle.
