Help us get a fiancee visa.
Eric and Niña met in the Philippines in 2013, while Eric was serving as a missionary. Eric returned to his home in Salt Lake City after two years as a missionary. As their relationship grew, Eric returned to the Philippines in January 2018 to visit Niña. That’s when they became engaged to be married. She will need to come to Salt Lake City for the wedding. However, the logistics and cost for the whole process to get a fiancée visa, and to get her to Salt Lake City is very long and costly. They have been working for well over a year to get through all of the red tape.
In addition to the cost of the government fees, and travel involved, there is an added cost to help support Niña’s family in the Philippines, as she is currently helping to support them with her current income. Until she finds employment in Utah, there will be some income loss when she moves here. With just enough financial help, they could possibly be married in the Fall of 2019, if all goes well.
In Eric’s words, “We want to be married for eternity as soon as possible. We love each other so much and we're struggling to get the funds to bring Niña here.”
