Selamat siang folks!!
We are year 12 students from Living School in Lismore NSW. We are currently studying Bahassa Indonesian as part of the IB diploma and are hoping to travel to Indonesia in June. As well as marine conservation will be offering our time and services towards United Nations sustainable development goal number 2 (zero hunger). To this end we will be funding the planting and cultivating rice by hand in the paddies of Tabanan, which will then be harvested and consumed by the community. We also aim to increase our understanding of the Indonesian language and culture throughout this trip.
By supporting this journey you are doing far more than funding our school trip. You are helping with cultural exchange and environmental stewardship. You will also be helping us become more familiar with the Indonesian language. Your generosity helps us students to step beyond the classroom to serve communities, protect fragile ecosystems, and develop the empathy and resilience our world so deeply needs. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings this opportunity closer to reality and ensures these lasting experiences can shape the hearts and minds of the next generation! Terima kasih (thank you) for helping make this transformative journey possible.
