In a little over 4 months, my team and I will be undertaking something huge. We’ll be partaking in a rowing race across the Atlantic Ocean. You may of heard of it, it is called The World’s Toughest Row - https://www.worldstoughestrow.com/
The race is 3000M (4828km), that is 500M (800km) more than the width of Australia!
It’ll just be the four of us, unassisted racing against 20+ other teams. All of our food onboard, a couple of spare oars and a whole lot of grit.
The row will take us 30+ days and we’ll be completely exposed to what Mother Nature can throw at us throughout the entire row.
We're rowing to challenge ourselves but to also challenge the current climate for Men's Health and support internationally. The team and I agree that it’s a challenging world out there for everyone but young Men are some of the most challenged and most likely to commit suicide.
Our row is a journey to try and open up conversations and bring awareness to the challenges young and old Men are facing to try and avert some many Men ending their lives too early. So we are partnering with Movember and campaigning for the next two years and beyond for the Men in our lives .
To get this great adventure off and running we need to first get the equipment. Number one being the boat itself!
This is our first great challenge as we try to raise money through donations and sponsorship.
The money donated will go directly to the purchase of our vessel and safety equipment needed to undertake the journey.
All donars will have their name on the inside of our cabins, to help motivate us and push us on!
