For over 10 years I have rescued doggies in conditions of extreme vulnerability in Brazil. Brum, my eldest son, was the doggo who inspired me with his love and cuteness. But, as time went by, my mission became bigger and I thought I should build an Animal Sanctuary. I'm a vegan and it really hurts to see what we do to more-than-human animals. Recently, my husband and I bought a piece of land and decided it was time to help others. The land is beautiful, but the region is very poor. So we have already started working to improve it. We rescued one dog (Benjamin I) and two Bulls (Walter and Benjamin II) who were being sold in order to be fattened and sent to a slaughterhouse.

Our plan is to take care of our 10 doggies, 2 bulls, the fish that live in the pond, and future residents. We are also going to plant trees in a way that still leaves room for Walter and Benjamin, but that can also be a refuge for birds, insects, and rodents. This way, we will contribute to restore the biodiversity of the region.
