Help a Homeless Veteran build a Tiny Cabin After Job Loss

Phil is a hardworking, loving husband, father, and veteran who has been laid off from the oil and gas industry. He has completed lineman school and is actively searching for work. I am Joann, his wife, a substitute teacher with a Master’s degree, currently going to school for my teaching credentials to become an elementary school teacher. While we wait for a company to hire Phil, we could no longer afford our apartment and have been living in a tent on property that belongs to a friend.

Our host has kindly given us permission to build a small cabin on their property, which we can later move to our own land once Phil finds work. Your support will allow us to buy building materials for our cabin. We will be so grateful for any amount you are willing to give. Having a normal, insulated shelter would make working and going to school so much easier, and life so much more comfortable for us during this difficult time.

Thank you for considering helping us. Your generosity will make a real difference in our lives as we work toward stability and a brighter future.
