Before Tusoleke Trust School was established, children as young as two years old endured a grueling 10km round-trip journey just to access an education. They walked through torrential seasonal rains and blistering heat reaching up to 45°C. Tragically, these long walks exposed them to encounters with elephants and snakes, as well as fatal accidents with passing vehicles. For many families in Muke Village Zambia, the risks were simply too high, meaning an education was entirely out of reach.
To change this, Tusoleke Trust School was born.
Tusoleke provides a safe, accessible, and nurturing environment for the children who need it most. We believe that every child deserves a quality education, essential learning materials, and a secure space to focus on their future.
Why We Need Your Support
Tusoleke receives zero government funding. To ensure education remains accessible to all, school fees are kept minimal, and are entirely waived for families who cannot afford them. Because of this, the school relies fully on the generosity of donors to pay teacher wages, maintain the classrooms, and provide daily school lunches.
You can read more about our history, our dedicated teaching staff, and our transparent budget on the Tusoleke School Website .

The Mission: Let’s Fill Their Bellies for a Year!
This specific campaign is dedicated entirely to funding our school lunch program: providing 4 nutritious lunches per week for every single student. We all know that a child cannot learn effectively on an empty stomach. For many families in Muke Village, securing a mid-day meal is a daily struggle. Providing these basic meals is one of our largest operational costs, but it is also one of the most vital.
The Math is Simple, but the Impact is Massive:
- 120 students relying on us.
- Over 20,000 meals needed per year.
- €339 per month (just €4,079 per year) covers the entire school thanks to careful local sourcing.
Every single contribution helps strengthen literacy, builds confidence, and fosters opportunity, one meal and one student at a time. We would be profoundly grateful for any donation you can spare to help us cover this essential cost.
Thank you for your warmth, your kindness, and your support.
