HELP TURKEY IN DEADLY EARTHQUAKES OF 7.8 AND 7.5

Our names are Hailey Eylül and Nil Sani and we are Turkish citizens who want to use our platform to call out for international aid and donations to our country, whose citizens suffered through 2 deadly earthquakes on Monday, Feb 6th. These are the most powerful earthquakes to strike Turkey in the last 80 years and have been reported as one of the deadliest natural disasters of the century.
The first earthquake hit the cities of Gaziantep/Kahramanmaras in the southeast region of Turkey and Syria with a magnitude of 7.8, followed by a second 7.5 tremor. At least 20,000 people have been reported dead with thousands still waiting to be rescued under ruins.
We recognize how it might be challenging to find a reliable source to donate to if you're not familiar with Turkish organizations. Many of the websites are in Turkish and could be frustrating to navigate. To simplify this process and collect donations that are so desperately needed at this moment, we've set up this GoFundMe. The proceeds will be donated directly to:
- AHBAP - the MOST reputable organization in Turkey right now, an incredibly active voluntary network active in the affected regions - they've continuously demonstrated their dedication and support in humanitarian crises that have affected Turkey in the past

These organizations are mobilizing on the grounds to provide immediate relief to survivors. They're digging people out from under mountains of rubble, saving lives, providing food and shelter, and medical assistance.
