Our local Treeview Little League, a volunteer-run youth baseball organization, was the victim of a break-in and vandalism at our clubhouse. The amount of damage caused is just heartbreaking. Since our last break-in during COVID, we padlocked doors like Fort Knox, added lights, and tried our best to deter, but in the early morning on Friday 2/6/26 at 3:20 AM, thieves stole from kids. THEY STOLE FROM KIDS! Sadly, I think they are local given they took our stuff through a back walkway on wagons and out onto a main street.

Our season is just starting, and this hits us like a bat to the head. Thousands of dollars in player and team equipment, brand new hitting nets, field PA systems, and essential (many commercial grade concession) stand items. Our beloved popcorn machine was our signature item at our fields! They even took the tub with paper products to serve the popcorn! They tore apart cabinets, our cash register, and walked out with numerous items we use to fund league operations.

With the season less than a month away, the league is now facing the challenge of rebuilding for the upcoming season. Insurance won't be quick to support our Opening Day timeline, and it breaks my heart to reach out to the community again for support. We are not a big league; we are a very small family-oriented league who continues to strive to make big league dreams for kids of all ages. Any little bit helps us, and we can't thank you enough as we try to recover.
