Hi Everyone! For those of you who don't know who I am, I am Tracy's daughter Tina. Tracy has 3 kids, Tina,Jay and Amanda. She is a grandma/Yaya to 4 beautiful grandkids. Jayden,Gio,Eliana and Makayla. She is a wife to John for 35 years.

I am fundraising for my mom because on April 3rd 2021, her life completely changed when she tested positive for covid-19. From that day on, she got worse. On April 6th/7th she was admitted into the E.R. On April 15th, she was put on to a ventilator. April 17th, she was transferred to Northwestern Hospital and the doctors called and said she was very sick and needed to be put on an ecmo machine which is life support.

Everyday after was a battle she was fighting. Her heart stopped, she needed dialysis, she had a trach put in and she had repeated pneumonia. Finally she came off of the ecmo machine on 4/30. We couldn't have been happier.

Mom has finally come home after 4 months in the hospital but it's not easy. She has intense physical therapy 3 times a week, she can't drive yet, she can't work or go back to doing the things she loved and that brought her an income in. Because of therapy and doctors appointments and my mom not being able to drive, my dad has exhausted his LOA and now he is losing his hours at work which is making it difficult to keep up with medical expenses and bills. It's been a long road so far and she still has ways to go. She has many medical issues now due to covid which means more appointments,more treatments and more medicine. It's becoming hard on her and my dad both financially and mentally. I wish I could help more then I have and pay off everything that is needed, but I can't.

My family & I are asking for financial help that will go towards medical expenses and utility bills. They don't know that I am writing this and I'm not sure how they would FEEL about me doing this, but it's time they ask for help! They are amazing parents and it hurts me that I cannot help in the way that I want. They hate asking for anyone's help but they are quick to help everyone else if they could. If you can donate,any amount would help them and we would greatly appreciate it If not, I completely understand, and we still love you all!
