My name is Irene Edwards. This fundraiser is for Tommy and Michelle Rayfield (my daughter and son-in-law). Tommy was recently diagnosed with lymphoma, which is a blood cancer. Here is Tommy's story.

15 years ago this week, I started my battle with cancer and won. This week, I found out it is time for another battle with cancer... This time with Nodular Sclerosing Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I have been feeling ill the last couple of months. After much testing, a CT scan found a large mass in my mediastinum. I received the results after a biopsy this week.

Headed to MD Anderson in Houston next week.

They have a small diving business in St. Thomas, which is where they live. However, they have been referred to go to Houston, Texas for further tests.

They have been in Houston for 2 weeks and will be for at least 6 months of chemo.

They have had to find an apartment close to the hospital as they don't have a car there.

Insurance covers some but not all medical issues. Out-of-pocket expenses have already totaled in the thousands.

I started this in order to hopefully relieve some of the financial stress they are facing.

Please help if you can. Everything helps. I pray that he will fight this as he did 15 years ago.
