Help Tim Breathe a Little Easier

To know Tim is to love Tim. Whether you call him Coach, Brother, Pastor, Mister, Dad, Papa, or Friend, Tim Mabe is one of the good guys. He is the most selfless, giving, genuine, honest, humble man I know. He would literally give the shirt off his back to someone who needs it, but right now, he needs us.

In December of 2016, Tim had double knee replacement surgery, and while recovering in the hospital, he developed multiple blood clots in his lungs. This, in turn, evolved into some pretty significant scarring, and he has been on oxygen since that time.

Tim’s lungs have now reached the point that they are unable to function to the capacity he needs, and a double lung transplant has become necessary. Even with insurance, this procedure is incredibly expensive; Tim is an instructor at TVCC, and will be unable to attend classes, so now he and his precious wife Jill are also facing the loss of his income.

Being the humble man that he is, Tim would never reach out for help, but instead would be the first one to offer it if someone else was in need. Please help me show this incredibly special man just how loved and appreciated he is by easing this financial burden.
