If you have had the privilege of knowing Tiffany, you know her for her warmth, her kindness, her infectious smile, and the positivity she brings into every room. She is the person who shows up for others without hesitation, celebrates the successes of those around her, and offers support even when she has her own challenges to carry.

Through her career in hospitality, bartending, teaching, and her community, Tiffany has spent years creating experiences, mentoring others, and bringing people together. She has always been someone who gives more than she asks for.

Hi everyone,

I never imagined I would be writing something like this.

At just 31 years old, my life changed in an instant when I was diagnosed with Stage II cervical cancer.

Instead of focusing on the future I had been building, I am now preparing for chemotherapy, radiation, countless appointments, and a journey that has completely changed my life.

While I am incredibly grateful to have a treatment plan that gives me hope, this diagnosis has brought some of the most difficult decisions and emotions I have ever faced. One of the most heartbreaking parts of this journey has been learning that the treatment needed to save my life may take away my ability to carry a pregnancy in the future.

Before treatment begins, I have a very small window of time to undergo fertility preservation through egg retrieval. This means hormone injections, medications, frequent monitoring appointments, an egg retrieval procedure, and long-term storage. This process gives me the opportunity to preserve the possibility of having biological children one day.. a future I always dreamed of having.

Trying to make these life-changing decisions while processing a cancer diagnosis has been incredibly overwhelming, both emotionally and financially.

Cancer doesn’t only affect your health. It impacts every part of your life.

I work in hospitality, and like many people in this industry, I am paid hourly and do not have employer health benefits or paid medical leave. During treatment and recovery, I will not be able to work at my normal capacity, which means losing a significant amount of income while facing increased expenses.

Right now, my biggest goal is to focus on healing. I want to put all of my energy into getting through treatment, taking care of my body, and giving myself the best chance at recovery without the constant fear of how I will manage financially.

My goal is to raise $90,000 CAD to help provide stability during the next chapter of my life. This support would allow me to focus on what matters most: fighting this cancer, healing, and rebuilding my future.

Asking for help is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I have always been someone who wants to take care of myself and be the person others can rely on. But right now, I need to allow the people around me to help carry some of this weight.

If you are able to donate, no matter the amount, I cannot express how much it would mean to me. If donating is not possible, sharing my story, sending a message, or simply keeping me in your thoughts would mean just as much.

A note about funds raised:

My goal is to use these funds to support the immediate and unexpected financial challenges that come with this cancer journey, including fertility preservation, treatment-related expenses, transportation, essential living costs, and time away from work while I focus on healing.

If funds raised exceed my immediate needs during treatment, any remaining donations will go toward ongoing recovery expenses, continued medical care, fertility storage fees, and future family-building options as I navigate life after cancer.

Every donation, every share, and every message of support reminds me that I am not facing this journey alone.

I have always believed that the hospitality and bartending community is a family that shows up for one another. I have spent years caring for others, creating memories, and bringing people together. Now, I am humbly asking for that same community to stand beside me.
