My name is Thea, and I have been given an incredible opportunity through a leadership program at Prisma High School. This program will allow me to travel to Eswatini, Africa, where I will volunteer on a water project and develop my leadership skills and cultural awareness. I am passionate about travel and keeping unique cultures alive, and this adventure is a dream come true for me.

The funds I raise will go directly toward my travel expenses to Eswatini and the program fees required to participate. While I'm there, I will be working with Thirst Project to help a rural town gain access to fresh drinking water for the very first time. In addition to the water project, I will have the chance to meet with the Eswatini government, visit a refugee camp, and connect with high school students my age. These experiences will forever change my outlook on the world, giving me a better understanding of life in 3rd world countries, fueling my current passion to build safe and sustainable environments, and creating a meaningful impact on our planet.

I chose to pursue this adventure purely out of passion and a desire to contribute as much as I can. Your support will help make this life-changing journey possible.
