Hi, I'm Lindsay Schultz, proud owner of The Spine Bookshop right here in Smyrna, Tennessee—and I'm reaching out to you with excitement, hope, and a little bit of nerves.

For the past three years, I’ve had the incredible privilege of turning my lifelong dream into a thriving, independent bookshop that celebrates local voices, independently published authors, and the viral stars of #BookTok. This little shop has grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined—it's become a community hub, a safe space, and a champion for books that challenge, inspire, and empower.

Now, an incredible opportunity has come our way: a bigger, better space that will allow The Spine Bookshop to truly flourish. With more room, we can host larger author events, community story times, book clubs, literacy outreach, and maybe even a banned books corner that turns heads and opens minds.

But we can't do it alone.
