Hey everyone. Nick here. it’s been a wild week that I never thought would happen. Our home as well as our car has been destroyed by a tornado which hit Northwest Arkansas Sunday morning causing mass destruction.
At 2 in the morning, I woke to whipping winds, loud crashes, and loud sirens. I quickly ran outside to see massive destruction all around my home. The trees in my yard were uprooted and fractured. Three trees fell on my house, creating a giant hole in my roof over my garage, and two trees collapsed on my car.
There’s no way to get my car out right now as I’m waiting for help from tree services and roofers who will attempt to clear the mess. Two windows have been shattered and the roof is now capsized.
Front yard, and the backyard is completely covered in large branches and uprooted trees.
Not only that, but the powerline pole in my backyard broke in half and crashed to the ground. Half the city is without power. They’re saying it will be a long while until power is restored. We are thinking weeks, here.
When I was outside in the tornado looking for my cats, I only found one and thank God the dog and two other cats were inside. My cat, Bear was able to survive the entire storm as he walked in the house like a champion in the morning.

Thank you for reading this. We are all healthy and safe and hoping we can move forward from this as soon as possible as we wait for the power to come back on and the roof to be repaired. This is very serious, but with your help, I know I can get through this.
