Our beloved friends, family, and community,

My name is Lauren Risha, I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends the Kelley family. On the morning of January 8th, the Kelleys lost their multi-generational family home, along with all of their personal belongings and family heirlooms, to the horrific Eaton fire. The house was originally built by John’s father in 1953 and has been a home to generations of Kelleys ever since. Thankfully the Kelleys and their cat Cape evacuated safely in time, but their home is now completely leveled with nothing but the foundation left.

If you know the Kelley family at all, you know that they are extremely kind, loving, generous, and hard-working people whose home was always a welcoming place of community, creativity, and celebration. Funds will be used for replacing basic necessities and essential items as they work towards finding a new home.
