John (Johnny) Costa abruptly left us on May 2, due to a tragic boating accident on the south shore of Long Island. John was "big" in everything he did. Nothing was done half-heartedly. Big love for family and friends. Big personality. Big foodie. Big work ethic. Big protector. Big opinions. Big passion for fishing.
He leaves behind his high school sweetheart and wife, Michele, and 3 beautiful daughters, Samantha, Amanda, and Gianna. He also leaves a big void in our family, which is forever changed without him here.
In life, he touched everyone that crossed his path. John loved bringing people together, whether it be on fishing excursions all around Long Island, BBQs and block parties, or our traditional Christmas Eve gathering...these moments brought great joy to his life. We are forever thankful for him and he is forever in our hearts.
