Help the Barrow Family with Medical Expenses

Update: It's with a heavy heart I have to report that my good friend Scottie succumb to Pancreatic and Liver cancer and passed away in Seattle in palliative care at 7:08 am on May 24, 2022. He is survived by his daughter Lili, his son Gavin, and his wife Emily. We are honored to have known such an incredible, funny and kind man. Our hearts are broken, but our love for him is strong. Our attention now is to help Emily and the kids get thru this. It will be a long slow recovery for the family, but with your help they can heal and get thru it.
Having cancer is not cheap, nor is it fun. And it's not supposed to happen to your close friend. Scott Barrow is our close friend and hockey teammate who has Pancreatic and Liver cancer. He found out in late August by accident and has been fighting for his life ever since. He is currently on a chemo plan to reduce the size of cancer in his Pancreas just to get the chance to operate and hopefully remove it. But there is no guarantee. If the first round of chemo treatments doesn't reduce the size enough to operate, he may have to go thru another round of chemo. Nothing in this battle is easy and nothing is certain, but Scott is a strong, positive guy with a big heart, and he can get through this. But Scott needs your help.

We are raising money to help Scott and his family pay medical and travel expenses during a time when someone shouldn't have to worry about money. Scott has a long and painful journey ahead of him with chemo and surgery, and this is just the first step. There will be many ups and downs along the way. Some days will be bad, some days just okay, but with your support, all days are filled with hope. The truth is no one should have to wake up each day knowing they are fighting for their life. It breaks our hearts to see him go thru this, that's why we are reaching out to our friends and family for help.
The need is real, and the time is now, so I hope you will help make life a little easier for Scott and his family. It takes a village, and every dollar counts. Thank you for your generosity. Scott's life will be much better for it.

This is the patch we had custom-made to support our friend. Scott is number #8 on our hockey team and he's known for his big black-framed glasses. We all miss you on the ice buddy and can’t wait to have you back!!
